Happy new week!  Getting tired of the heat?  I am going to melt soon with the humidity!  Only low 100s showing in the near forecast though.

We had some dancing and relaxing this last Saturday. I saw lots of smiles, food, and dancing.

The calendar has Bunco on this Wednesday at 5:00. It’s only $5.00 to play and lots of fun!  Come try and enjoy.

Saturday the 10th is the Social Coffee and Chatter at 9 am in the clubhouse. Stop by to visit with your neighbors.

McGavin Ranch, the 55+ Active Community is participating with the Mesa Police Department Neighborhood Watch Program. Simply stated, Neighborhood Watch is watching for unusual things in your neighborhood, making sure your neighbors are doing well, and reacting if something is out of the ordinary. As an example, I saw a truck with a u-haul attached backed into a driveway last week. I realized after leaving the area, I was not familiar with the person driving, so I checked with the office and was informed it was the homeowner returning to the Ranch!  Better safe than sorry!

But, if you see something unusual, call Mesa Police Department to report it, and they will do patrols for us and keep an extra watch out for us.

As a group, we are required to have a meeting twice a year with all our residents. I plan on having our second meeting for the year when the snowbirds return in the Fall.

Homes are beginning to sell, so if you have friends that you’d like to be your neighbors, tell them to hurry in!  We’d love to have them join us at the Ranch!

Have a great week, keep cool and hydrated, check on your neighbors to be sure they are doing well, and join in some activities here at McGavin Ranch, the 55+ Active Community of Mesa.
