Ranch News May 20, 2019

The pickle ball court has been busy, busy!  All weekend, day and night!

Bocce ball has had some regular players showing up, both day and night! These are pictures of some of the players!  They can get quite rowdy and competitive!

This week at the 55+ active community of McGavin Ranch we will have local historian Bill Harrison coming once again to tell about the Arizona Sidekicks. He always has interesting stories about the history of Arizona. He will be here Tuesday, May 21 at 2pm. Hear the presentation and have some pie for only $5.00!

The Activity Committee at McGavin Ranch are hosting a Potluck Dinner for Memorial Day. It should be a great day, with temps in the low 80s. The Activity Committee will be providing the fried chicken, and from what I saw on the sign up sheet, the other goodies provided by the residents are going to be wonderful!

As always, there is something going on daily at the McGavin Ranch 55+ community.  There are wild games of darts Monday through Friday.  The water volleyball group plays Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.  Our pool is half covered, so when the sun starts getting too intense, you can go into the sunny side!

Putt-Putt players are out Monday through Friday in the evenings.  I hear the ranch bell ringing when a hole is made!  Poker players are at it on Tuesday evening, and Texas Holdem on Thursday evenings.

Here’s hoping you all have a good, busy, or relaxing week and Memorial Day holiday!
