Hello!  Busy past week!  A lot of activities going here this past weekend!  Yesterday at our 55+ Active Community of McGavin Ranch we had a Veteran’s Day presentation by retired K-9 officer Jet, and his partner Lorne.  Lorne’s wife Kim also participated by hiding for Jet to find her.  Jet is a beautiful dog with quite the personality!  It was fun and interesting to watch their presentation!  There was a large turnout of Ranchers for this program!

Thank you to Lorne, Kim and Jet…it was enjoyable, and informative!

We also had our Neighborhood Watch meeting.  It helps to have everyone in the Ranch watching out for each other.  This helps keep crime down, or away, and also is a great way to interact and get to know your neighbors.  We are required to have 2 meetings per year, so our next meeting will be in the spring of 2020.

We had an orientation last week for new neighbors at the McGavin Ranch Active 55+ Community. We welcomed 5 new home owners and their roommates or partners.  They all were gazed looking because they’ve all been moving and unpacking and realizing they brought too much stuff!  It all seems to sort itself out. Everyone was happy to be living at the Ranch!

We do have 2 homes available for sale if you’d like to join us here at the Ranch.  Lot 108 is a great 2 master bedroom home, and Lot 3 is a unique 2 bedroom and den, open concept, with a 2 car garage!  Lot 108 is being offered for $136,900, and Lot 3 is $147,900.  A bargain for either one, and you’ll live in a great community. We only have 179 homes here, with about 250 residents.  This is a 55+ community, with activities to participate in, or not…your choosing!

The pickle ball court is more and more busy, as is the bocce ball and putt-putt course.  There is also water aerobics and water volleyball available for your exercise and fun!  And let’s not forget the poker on Tuesday with Texas Holdem on Thursday!

Friday is Lite Bites and Bingo. Be sure to show up!  Lite Bites is $5.00 for a meal at 5pm, and then Bingo follows at 6pm.

Have a great week, and thanks for reading our little tidbit!
