Its a new week, a little cooler, nice mornings to sit on the porch and watch the world!  Days are getting shorter all of a sudden also.

Went to see the ladies in the Creative Hands session at our 55+ Active Community of McGavin Ranch this morning.  They meet every Monday morning at 10am to work on different projects.  There was a quilt in progress, some placemats, and cute baby blanket, and another quilted piece.

Beautiful projects!

It’s Bill Harrison week on Tuesday at 2pm. He’ll be here to talk about the Copper Queen Hotel and the rowdy town of Bisbee.  He’ll introduce us to the ghosts of the hotel, and talk of the perils of Brewery Gulch, where there was whisky, women, and vice!

Friday is Lite Bites at 5pm, which is a quick meal prepared by volunteers at the 55+ Active Community of McGavin Ranch for only $5.00, then followed up with Bingo at 6pm.  This happens twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.

Putt-Putt is up and running again in the evenings with it being cooler.  I hear the bell ringing, I guess for a good putt!?

WII Bowling sign-up is also starting this week.  This always draws a big crowd, and people have a great time.

The pickle ball court has been buzzing on Saturdays and Sundays!  The weather is bringing out a lot of people, which is nice.  Good bike riding weather also!

Good news, or bad news, depends on what side of the housing situation you’re on!  Lot 71 has a sale pending, so that leaves the inventory of available homes to only 4.  If you’re interested in being our neighbor, check out the homes available on our website under “Homes for Sale”.  There are some beautiful and unique homes still available.  Give us a call at 480-294-3100 to see our homes and community.  You’ll love it!
